Version 2.5 Information (Major)

Hello Customers and Members,

This announcement is concerning major changes that will happen within the end of August, beginning of September.

The changes are involving the expansion of our services to other leading software's such as Wordpress, Invision Power Board, Joomla(?), several leading e-commerce scripts and some other possible candidates.

Also a version 2.5 (Yes, I'm possibly re-designing the site again to make it much more simpler and to the point leading more attention to our services and products.)

My main focus will not be just on vBulletin anymore, I want to focus it on a few of other popular software scripts as well. phpBB templates may come to a end of life on That1Design as they are not reaching enough sales to be expanding other templates to that forum software.

It is a good idea only to neglect them and thus to set out again towards other products so perhaps starting again to zero.

vBulletin 4 will still be supported, I may not have any more updates available for vBulletin 3 skins in the future, only vBulletin 4.

I'm waiting for vBulletin to step up their current system as it isn't a good style system at all.

I'm still working on the other skins to be upgraded to vBulletin 4.0.6 when it is released this coming week.
Please remember that I am the only person working on everything (custom skins & pre-made skins) until I find a person to hire to help.

All the skins will still be upgraded to vBulletin 4.x, Customized and RedThorn have been upgraded to 4.0.4 which is compatible with vBulletin 4.0.5. I will still upgrade both of them to vBulletin 4.0.6 once released as vBulletin announced.

I have not abandoned vBulletin, only vBulletin 3 (in the future).

I understand,
but, takes skinbox or bluepearl design all them skins are updated.
vBulletin 4 is out since more 6 months and a lot of designer say : it's a pitty to make skins for vb4
I say OK, but why other designer don't say the same thinks ?
But i recognize the stylevar is difficult to use for designer.

Yes while those sites do have a lot more updated skins than I do, they also have more than one person on their team and not doing everything their selves. I am working on Tropical Fire to be converted to vBulletin 4. The other skins I will have to re-design some of it (mostly the header) due to the navigation structure of vBulletin 4.

Its really sad that you didn't mentioned Datalife Engine ................ Is there any hope for DLE templates ?

I even contacted you for this some days ago .......

Actually one of those you've mentioned does have another skin coder on their team to my knowledge.
I'm working another job as well outside of That1Design which is another main reason for a short delay in updates.
I should be releasing it once when I'm finished with these two clients.

PS: I am also looking to hire someone to assist me for vBulletin and IPB to make updates more quicker for all skins.
